WHAT WE DO

We are three childhood friends with passion for good beer.

Since there already exists a bunch of exeptional breweries in Finland, but no small malthouses to answer to their specific needs, we desided to start malting barley. After all, there is no beer without malt. Malt is the essence and soul of any good beer. Our malthouse is located in Ruukki, a small town in northern Finland.

We work closely with local farmers. Almost all of our barleys comes from within 20 km from our malthouse. This is important to us, because this way we can easily confirm the origin and quality of our ingredient.
